We are looking for a Legal Assistant (Paralegal) to support the RNLI’s legal team in providing general legal advice and services across the organisation.

Your Role

This is an exciting and varied role, helping the RNLI Legal Team to support our frontline lifeboat and lifeguard services.  Whether we’re negotiating contracts, conducting property transactions, supporting lifeboat crew, assisting investigations, or keeping our staff and volunteers advised of legal developments, you will be providing para-legal support across a wide range of areas which contribute to the RNLI’s purpose of saving lives at sea.

About you

Our ideal candidate will either have prior paralegal experience or experience in compliance, policy and ideally, though not essentially, property related work. Ideally they will have successfully completed a Legal Practice Course (or equivalent) and are seeking to gain more legal work experience. They will have a strong work ethic and a good understanding of legal/ compliance concepts, as well as being well organised with great attention to detail.
