We’re looking for an Investments & Treasury Coordinator to join our Investments, Tax and Compliance Team. The team helps to manage over £300 million of cash and investments for the RNLI, ensuring that systems are set up and available to make payments and process income and that the cash and investments are kept safe.

Your Role
As an Investments & Treasury Coordinator you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
- Support the Investments and Treasury team in providing administration relating to bank accounts and investments, including account opening and closing, accurate maintenance of bank mandates for the organisation and associated mandate changes, maintaining user access to online banking systems and investment and resolving associated queries.
- Provide support to ensure the smooth running of automated payment facilities, including maintaining user access, implementing system changes and resolving associated queries.
- Follow standard treasury work procedures and maintain and update them as required ensuring they remain as efficient and effective as possible.
- Provide support for the Investment Committee meetings, arranging Investment manager presentations and taking minutes at the meetings.
- Deal with a wide range of internal and external customers, including trustees, committee members, investment advisors, custodian, volunteers, banks and investment managers to answer and resolve a variety of queries.
- Maintain the daily cash flow position and make initial forecast of future cash requirements.
- Assist with maintaining PCI DSS compliance for the organisation, including maintaining and auditing PDQ estate records and liaising with consultants and providers as required.
- Keep up to date with legislative changes that affect your area of expertise.
- Ensure processes and controls relating to this role are adhered to and they remain as efficient and effective as possible.
- To become involved in other ad hoc tasks and projects as required
About You
In this role you will ensure that the appropriate controls around cash and investments are maintained and that investment and banking records are kept up to date to support decision making.
To be considered for the role of Investments & Treasury Coordinator you will need:
- Strong communication skills are a must, together with a real ‘team' ethic
- 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C, 9-4) or equivalent including English and Mathematics
- General accounting knowledge and experience.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience of online banking and accounting systems.
- The ability to multi-task with ease and be confident in dealing with colleagues at all levels.
- Work accurately under pressure and comfortable communicating with internal and external contacts to resolve queries.
- Evidence of improvements and efficiencies made within your field.
- You will need to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to meet deadlines.
