We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager (Individual Giving - Retail Acquisition & Retention) to join our busy Individual Giving Fundraising team focusing on Retail acquisition and retention. This team is key to RNLI growth; attracting new supporters to the RNLI through our retail channel, making sure they receive a great supporter experience throughout their purchase journey, and in turn, optimising the value of our supporter database.
Your role
As a Senior Marketing Manager (Individual Giving - Retail Acquisition & Retention) on your watch, you’ll be focused on:
- Leading and supporting a small team of marketing specialists to realise RNLI’s fundraising and retail objectives.
- Maintaining excellent and effective relationships with our key customers, stakeholder groups and agencies.
- Planning, managing and delivering multiple campaigns to deliver retail acquisition, conversion and sales income targets in partnership with retail experts.
- Overseeing the retail marketing mix and contact plan, being sure to use data and insight to achieve the optimum mix across multiple channels.
- Increasing LTV across all supporters, ensuring the provision of donor centric supporter journeys, from the initial sign up, to conversion, to legacy enquiry.
- As an experienced marketeer, you’ll be comfortable planning multi-channel campaigns with ambitious financial targets.
About you
You’ll be passionate about the donor experience, keeping the supporter front of mind while delivering an acquisition and conversion programme that generates a strong return on investment for the organisation and love retail businesses.
More specifically, you’ll need:
- Demonstrable experience of creating product-based acquisition marketing campaigns and detailed knowledge of building Shopify conversion journeys
- Demonstrable experience of delivering marketing strategies that align impactful campaigns with strong financial results.
- Demonstrable ability to use and understand trends and data to positively influence product delivery.
- Problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and a passion to deliver the best possible results for our customers, volunteers and supporters
- Confident people management skills with experience of coaching and supporting others to develop and achieve results
- Extensive experience managing media and website development agencies and working collaboratively with creative and digital experts.
