This 'advert' and the form linked below are for Lifeguards who have moved across to a permanent zero hours contract.

The purpose is to capture your basic personal details and preferred season length for 2025, and to enable your annual health assessment.

The linked form is not an 'application'.  But wording on it comes from parts of the standard lifeguard application, so that your details are visible to the relevant supervisors.

Season dates

Please find below indicative season dates for your area. In addition to these dates, you'll be required to attend an induction before the season starts. Please liaise with your Supervisor to agree and confirm these dates.

  • Extended Season: 5 April to 2 Nov
  • Full Season: 3 May to 28 Sep
  • Main Season: 17 May to 28 Sep
  • Peak Season: 12 July to 7 Sep

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore any offer of employment will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check.
