We are looking for a People Administrator to join our People department. The People Administration team works hard to ensure RNLI personnel (including volunteers) are administered on our HR systems in a timely manner and with high levels of accuracy.

About the role
This role is far more than administration. As well as maintaining all our staff records, being multi skilled you’ll be responsible for registering our Lifeboat Crew and our Seasonal Lifeguards so that our lifesaving service remains operational.
Strong customer service skills are required, in order to respond to queries and resource requests from employees, volunteers and colleagues across the Support Service via the telephone, multiple email inboxes and face to face.
Strong organisational and data inputting skills are essential to ensure our staff, operational volunteers and lifeguards are administered as quickly and smoothly as possible, at any point necessary throughout their lifecycle at the RNLI.
You’ll be a vital member of the People Administration Team, being flexible and supporting them to achieve their daily objectives, whilst consistently maintaining high levels of customer service. Being first point of contact for all HR queries you will never have the same day twice therefore experience within an HR environment is required.
You will be prepared to challenge and improve team processes where necessary to ensure you are working as efficiently as possible at all times, whilst also enhancing the customer experience.
Exceptional levels of accuracy and confidentiality, together with IT skills to administer the HR Microsoft Dynamics AX system and online recruitment system (Hireserve), are a requirement for this role.
