We’re looking for a Leadership and Talent Development Specialist to join our Performance and Development team. The Performance and Development team supports the RNLI through partnering with stakeholders across the RNLI to build capability and enhance performance. We do this by identifying development needs and designing, delivering, and embedding solutions - from workshops and coaching to practical resources that support people to grow and succeed.

Your role
As a Leadership and Talent Development Specialist, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
- Design and facilitate leadership modules to strengthen capability of individuals and leadership teams
- Develop and implement an organisational wide structured Future Leaders Programme to nurture high-potential employees, establishing a roll out plan in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Drive and embed the RNLI Leadership Model across the organisation.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and coaching to leaders to enhance individual performance and development.
About you
You’ll have Leadership and People Development expertise and can adapt to meet the needs of the business. You’ll have credibility and the aptitude to challenge constructively with strong stakeholder management.
To be considered as the Leadership and Talent Development Specialist you will need:
- Proven experience in a performance-focused role with a strong track record of enabling organisational effectiveness through people development—particularly in designing and facilitating initiatives that support leadership growth and management capability.
- Experience influencing and supporting organisational change initiatives or culture transformation
- Experience in managing small - medium projects and has the ability to lead cross-functional development initiatives from concept through execution.
This is a highly visible role helping to build a strong pipeline of people ready to lead the RNLI into the future. It requires regional travel to deliver leadership initiatives and build strong relationships.
