About us
Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. Our busy Accounts Payable team is currently recruiting for a Finance Team Assistants to join our Accounts Payable team. The roles will be assisting the Payables Manager in providing a first class service, ensuring payments made to suppliers, employees and volunteers are accurate, complete and executed in a timely manner.

About the role
The role will focus on the following areas:
- All aspects of purchase ledger
- Manual invoice posting
- Invoice verification
- Manual cheque posting
- Queries – internal/external customers
- Remittances and filing
- Control account reconciliations as required
- Supplier statement reconciliations as required
- Any other duties assigned by the Team Leader from time to time including cover for other Accounts Payable teams
About you
The ideal candidate must be qualified to at least GCSE level (incl. English and Maths) or equivalent and have demonstrable experience of working in an office, ideally in a financial environment. You will also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
