Our lifeboat crews and lifeguards need a dedicated, professional and talented team behind them, and that is where you come in - This is your chance to join that team and help save lives every day.

Working together with partners and communities, we aim to educate, influence, supervise and rescue those at risk from drowning. We see digital technologies as a crucial in helping us achieve this goal.

About The Role

To help us drive forwards our digital programme, we’re looking for a high quality specialist to lead our CMS management efforts. This role will support us in delivering a consistent user experience to the public, our supporters and our volunteers, helping us to deliver safety messages more effectively; and by contributing to the sustainability of the charity through improved process efficiency and enhanced user experiences

In this strategically important role, you’ll be leading the Digital Platform team in the development of our Sitecore Platform roadmap and roll out of added value capabilities across the RNLI’s websites, apps and other platforms.

It’s an exciting time to be involved with our digital team. As Digital Platform Lead, you’ll help establish best-practice implementations of Sitecore’s marketing automation and personalisation tools. Working with our in-house digital project management and production teams, Conversion Rate Optimisation, creative and UX specialists, and myriad third party providers, you’ll act as a focal point and subject matter expert across a variety of systems and work streams.

About You

  • You’ll have recent and significant experience using Sitecore CMS and digital marketing features and multiple other CMS platforms
  • Show experience and composure in prioritising and managing conflicting stakeholder expectations and deadlines, preferably within large and complex organisations
  • You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and quality control, with strong administration and process-creation skills, whilst maintaining a flexible and pragmatic outlook in delivering against the organisation’s objectives
  • Previous line management experience is also desirable, as is experience with Kanban, Lean and Agile methodologies
  • You’ll enjoy working closely with designers, content specialist, marketers and developers alike, but be able to work independently to drive things forwards
  • Ideally you’ll have previously worked within an in-house digital team or digital agency

If this sounds like you, and you are someone who is an effective team player with a pragmatic approach to problem solving, and a calm approach to a busy workload, apply today!
