An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst in the central PMO function who will be responsible for working on strategically significant and complex projects to provide detailed analysis of business needs and requirements to deliver outcomes and benefits that enable us to become more effective and efficient in our primary goal of saving lives at sea.
Your Role
As Senior Business Analyst you will be responsible for managing the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) business analysis activity to support successful delivery of the Strategic Projects Portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning the PMO BA resource across the Portfolio in order to meet project demand for business analysis activity to deliver solutions that achieve business objectives and benefits
- Work in conjunction with Portfolio Manager to understand and drive efficiencies across the Portfolio, having a rounded view of business analysis activity and demand
- To work on complex projects and have strong relationship management skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and conduct methodical investigations for business requirements specifications
About You
You’ll be someone who has extensive experience of business analysis and team management. Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modelling, verification, and methodology development, business process improvement. Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of IT and business solutions, systems, and / or business products.
To apply for the role as a Senior Business Analyst, you must have an industry recognised Business Analysis qualification, i.e. BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
